Personality: Inside of battle 'Caly' shows no mercy, a cold blooded killer, earning her the title the Savage Lynx. Outside of battle she's cheerful and upbeat. Usually found with a smile, she only flips the switch when tempers flare. She has no temper and seeks to find the good in anyone, unless her republic deems them evil.

Weapon: Two Light Foil blades, held on back. One WESTAR-M5 blaster rifle, including Over-Under grenade launcher and one SE-14C. That's it for now.

Clothing/Armor: In Battle, she usually wears specially made contact lenses that give her greater resistance to intense heat. She also wears a pair of Mandalorian Iron, Gloves, allowing her to deflect blaster bolts and other weapons of a similar design, but they do have a melting point as do all weapons, so she uses them sparingly.

Improv: She carries a Twilek Dagger on a holster on the side of her leg. She has a special pair of contact lenses created by her parents, allowing her to negate her Infra- Red sight in lieu of normal sight, not sensitive to regular light. She has a cybernetic implant in her brain that acts as a communicator and tracking beacon with the republic, accurate to within a singular planet (Roughly the size of Coruscant). By manipulating radio signals she can use the implants as a transmitter and headset sending her verbal words to the Republic. She also has a cybernetic / removable eye, that acts as a visio feed, to a receiver, using the same technology as her headset.

History: Starting Out

Calystra was born on the planet of Coruscant. They were exiled from Arkania for trying to interrupt an experiment on a Yaka, which caused the Yaka to go into a blind rage, killing a few scientists. Leaving to the Republic Capital, the two renounced their former heritage and had a child in peace. Caly was raised as a normal Human child, often teased for her white hair and pupil less eyes. Working her way through school, the only thing that ever interested her was fighting. Specifically, Fighting in battle. It just interested her, the carnage, the thrill of knowing that its either him or you and that one of you was gonna be choking on ash. To no one's surprise, the second she finished her schooling (Top of the class due to her latent knowledge, being an Arkanian gave her these advantages) she became a soldier of the republic. Training was fun, but it wasn't what she wanted, what she needed. Being dropped in a training exercise on Geonosis, she took charge, almost immediately. Moving through the field, she quickly, completed the entire teams objectives, took out the necessary targets and had time to set up a command post, for her soldiers to rest in. She was a natural soldier, despite her intellectual disadvantage. Moving with the faction for a few more days, she eventually made it through the training exercise. Returning to Coruscant she was reviewed by the War Ministers and the Generals, she had potential.. but to be a truly great warrior, she’d have to be put through a real fight.

A Real Fight

As part of her advanced training she was dropped onto the planet of Mandalore, for reconnaissance. She was dropped with a small battalion of 29 soldiers, leaving the 30 of them to try and settle this war. Moving silently and swiftly they had a lot of ground to cover, before the Mandalorians discovered them. About 15 clicks from Mandalore’s camp, the inevitable happened. A group of battle crazy warriors ambushed her battalion. Being sent into ‘War’ Mode triggered something in her. Grabbing her custom rifle she basically led an assault on the proud warriors. Destroying their numbers with ease, she managed to salvage 2 thirds of her soldiers. Leaving most of her troop behind to set up camp and establish communications, she moved forward with 5 soldiers, to Mandalore’s camp. Guns at the ready she was able to make her way to Mandalore himself. As outraged as he was, that the Republic had forced their way into his camp, he was impressed at the fact that this girl had the audacity to march straight up to him, with less than 1000 soldiers. Caly explained the situation to him, she tried doing the diplomatic thing, but when that didn’t work out, she had to do things the Mandalorian way, in a fight. Losing her armor, and her guns she had to fight Mandalorians. As a Major of the Republic Army this was to be frowned upon, but as a true soldier this is what fighting battles was about. It took less than 10 minutes for the fight to end. Calystra was standing, a broken arm and missing an eye, but she was standing none the less. The Mandalorians, still had a look of furious anger about them, even thought Caly had completed the task handed to her. The Mandalore told Caly to leave the camp, with her soldiers and never return. She figured that the only reason she was still alive, was because of her winning the fight. But she had to complete her mission, she had to try and over step her boundaries for the task at hand. I must know, before I leave... are you planning an attack on Coruscant. The warriors seemed to tense up as they all looked towards their leader. She stood firm, not backing down and not flinching as she looked at the dark mask, hiding the Mandalore's face. The Mandalore looked at her, for a long time before finally answering her question. We will not be planning an assault on Coruscant, you have my word... Caly, accepted the answer and left the camp, heading back to her troops. When she returned to camp she saw that the remaining soldiers had taken what was valuable of the fallen Mandalorians. She disappproved, and ordered that they be left with their belongings, as it was the right thing to do, given the recent hospitality. Against her own words though, she took a pair of Gauntlets, that one of the soldiers had. Hiding the gauntlets she left the planet. After returning to the republic she was first sent to the infirmary for her wounds and a new eye, but when she was finished she was sent to the War Chamber, for a debriefing on her latest Mission.

RP-Sample: Debreifing
Major Lynxa, report on the dealings on Mandalore… and spare no details please… The Council just looked at her, some in awe of her young age, others in awe of the fact that an Arkadian would be a soldier. Disregarding both, she spoke towards the Generals in the room, not the Politicians. At exactly 0900 hours my team landed on Mandalorian soil. We proceeded to survey the surroundings and create a perimeter, for the landing crafts. Moving quickly we proceeded towards the Mandalore Encampment. At 0945 we were assaulted by a squad of Mandalorian Fighters. They managed to take out 10 of my soldiers. Repelling the warriors we made a camp at approx. 15 clicks from the Mandalore camps. Taking 5 of the best privates I had, I proceeded into Mandalore camp. Engaging the current Mandalore in negotiations all diplomatic choices were rejected, so I leveled with the warriors. I fought with them on a non fatal non armed level. To win the fight is to win a Mandalorian’s Respect and win the fight I did. The Chamber around her exploded with talk and whispers about how this small girl had managed to defeat a Mandalorian. Clearing her throat the council went deathly silent, wishing to hear more of her tale.

At approx. 1100, my team was ejected from the camp, with a promise from The Mandalore himself that they would not attack the republic. I believe the promise to be true,Mandalorians aren't people who go back on their words. You can interpret the situation however you like, That is all. Caly stood at attention, awaiting a decision from the council. After a few hours of deliberation, Calystra was addressed once more. In lieu of your actions, shown in doing what was needed, in a situation that no other soldier would partake in we appoint you Calystra Lynxa with the rank of Captain Lynxa. Calystra thanked the council, containing her emotions. She had to be in War for a bit longer… celebration came later. After a few more minutes of deliberation and appointing, Calystra was allowed to leave. The first thing she did was run home and tell her parents, who although disapproved of her dangerous lifestyle, still loved and supported her. Within the walls of her home, she felt safe, the only place she felt safe which meant that this was the only place she could even think about doing what she did next. She stood in her parents embrace, and closed her eyes, dropping her guard.

Ok this looks good but a few thing that i'm not so sure of.

1: for the light force blades do you mean lightfoils?

2: Mandalorian armor is rarely given out to outsiders, they also i believe still enemies of the republic because before the sith went into hiding they were there allies and a reason why so many jedi died, this doesn't mean that you were not on madalore, madalorians are more of the take-no-prisoners then let me help the enemy for no reason,

Mandalore is a neutral World and always has been, for the Mandalorians are a warrior-culture, not appreciating being under Control of an Outside Power.

The Mandalorian Iron is fine. But, the Gauntlets are a bit sketchy. Since the Lightsaber Beam is literally a laser, it's practically impossible to physically get in contact with it, even with Cybernetics. Of course, these Gauntlets can be made of Mandalorian Armor, thus allowing you to defend against the Lightsaber's beam, like all Lightsaber-Resistant Material.

And please explain these Force Blades?

Ok in Reverse Order:

The Light Force blades, was a typo that was supposed to be Light 'Foil'.

The Guantlets have been toned down, offering some defense against lightsabers, but not physically able to hold a lightsaber, more like a quick deflection.

And Finally, How should I rewrite the story, placing the Mandalorians out of the Ceasefire and out of the conflict, entirely?

You could instead change it to perhaps a recon Mission... Gathering intel as to whether or not the Mandalorians plan on expanding their power. And, in the midst of the Mission, everything you normally did, could come to fruition, except you'd be with a Squad instead of an entire Army of Republic. Perhaps in the end, you could report back to the Republic, and address that the Mandalorians weren't actually planning a massive uprising.

However it is up to you.

If you take away the fact that your Gauntlets enable you to catch bolts... Then I believe I can approve this.

Your gauntelets can be made of Mandalorian Iron, which would make them resistant to such lasers, of course... Having a limit, like all Armor.
