Mercenary Problems On Telos IV

Master Potu, Isabella, and Tumas had landed on the Citadel Station landing pad in the Republic Transport Ship. Master Potu, Tumas, and Isabella were escorted by a TSF Lieutenant that had lead them to Captain Gresh. "Master Potu, it is a pleasure to see you again, As you already know we have had some evidence of illegal black market trade between Czerka and a Band of mercenaries, You already know that Czerka play a magor part in assisting the republic with supplies so you must deal with this situation wisely, as much as I would like my men to help im afraid they are too hot headed to do so which is why I asked you to help, surely you will be paid handsomely", Captain Gresh explained. "Pleasure to see you again as well captain, it is, and trouble yourself with payment, do not, any form of payment I desire not, I merely do what, for the good of the galaxy, can I", Master Potu said with a noble nod.

"Very well Master Potu, you never fail to disappoint me, always serving with selfless acts of kindness or at least when it is necessary", Captain Gresh said, Captain Gresh looked up to Master Potu since he was such a noble being. "I appreciate the compliment, but now onto important matters, captain gresh, any leads on where activity pertaining to the mercenary problems are happening, do you have", Master Potu asked. "Luckily an officer reported criminal activity in a near alley just outside of the Czerka corporation building, Sadly he was outnumbered and could not do anything at the time and unfortunately when we sent officers to investigate the matters they found nothing" explained Captain Gresh. "You may want to speak with Frank Muzza the officer that spotted the activity, He is usually at the cantina", suggested Captain Gresh.

"This, very well we shall do, if know, anything happens while we are in the cantina let us", Master Potu said to Captain Gresh, "Will do", Captain Gresh stated. "I find it strange that a TSF officer hangs out in the cantina alot, Should'nt they be spending more time keeping the people of this station safe?", Tumas questioned. "Very wise, your words are, with you I agree, keep the people safe rather than spend his time in the cantina, frank should, however you must remeber even citizens that purpose is noble will always be noble themselves not, something we only can hope to change, this is", Master Potu said. "I agree with Master Potu, Though we would try our best to bring people towards the right path we cannot always do so", Isabella said wisely. Finally Master Potu, Isabella and Tumas made it to the cantina and headed inside to speak with Frank Muzza as recommended by Captain Gresh.

Master Potu approached Frank Muzza, He glared at Potu and the two Jedi in suprise. "Not many days you see three Jedi in Telos more specifically a Jedi councillor, Master Potu at that", Frank said, It appeared Frank knew about Master Potu as it would make sense that a Jedi that lived for centuries and helped in many successful victories in wars did not go by unnoticed. "Instructed by captain gresh that you had witnessed some illegal activity outside of the czerka corporation, was I, if need your help, so we will, we suspect that a black market trade between czerka and mercenaries may be happening here in telos, we are simply talking about minor black market trade either not, worried that it may be illegal weapon trade, are we", Master Potu explained. "When you put it like that I would be more than happy to help, You see about a week ago I encountered about five mercenaries and seven czerka officers trading brief cases, I suspect that it was the weapons you are talking about and credits, anyway, they were just outside the czerka building in Apartment Complex C8, If I was you I'd wait their Czerka usually rushes trade if it involves a large amount of credentials, My guess is that they will be their anytime, so you may want to hurry", Frank Muzza said.

Master Potu could sense a suspicious nature about Frank, As almost as if he was afraid of his life, "Hiding something frank muzza, I think you are, sense a trouble about you through the force, I can, tell us everything, you have nothing to fear we will harm you not, helping the galaxy if you tell us you will be, so speak up", Master Potu said. "Okay, I cant hold it in anymore, I am being paid to keep their activities silent, I am afraid I have disgraced TSF and that they will arrest me, Even so, the mercenaries threatened to kill me if anyone found out about their activities, please you must help me", said Frank Muzza in a worried tone. "This news disturbs me, dealing with serious criminals, knowing that mercenaries threatened your life means we are, tell the tsf that you helped us, I will, assure you, I can, be arrested since you are helping us you will not, I can also assure you that we will deal with these brutes so not worry, to the tsf headquarters I suggest you head, so you remain safe that, fine will go now and trust me that everything be", Master Potu said, "I do not know how I can every repay you", said Frank Muzza. "Sacrifice, a jedi's life is, worry about repaying me you need not", Master Potu said as Frank Muzza ran towards the TSF headquarters on Telos IV.

"Need to head to apartment complex c8 immediatly, we will, even czerka knows who they are dealing with I am afraid not", Master Potu exclaimed, "Alright Master Potu then lets step on it", Tumas said as Isabella followed behind them. They had past the Czerka Corporation Building and were halted by a Gamorrean, that pulled out his axe ready to strike. "You put away your weapon I suggest, making a great mistake, you are", Master Potu said in hopes of causing the Gamorrean who was clearly working with the mercenaries to retreat. The Gamorrean refused and was about to swing his axe at the three until Master Potu used master stun on the creature, It was stuck in its posistion that as if it was about to smash Tumas, Master Potu immediatly told Tumas to use force push and Isabella to use Force Light to blind the Gamorrean, He told them this to see if they were truly ready to be intiated as Jedi masters, They did as followed, Tumas Used Force Push and the Gamorrean slammed against the wall, and immediatly after Isabella cast Force Light and the Gamorrean ran away terrified, "Now I understand Master Potu, Sometimes action needs to be taken when pursuasion does not work but the action does not have to be lethal for their are alternatives", Tumas said as Isabella noded in agreement, "Impressive, finally understood the full meaning of responsibility using the force, you two have, for to be lethal not all actions need, because an alternative, prevention is", Master Potu said as he smiled, They continued down to Apartment Complex C8, Now they could only wait.

Anato was on Telos 4, a fun green planet and on a security job, a bounty to keep some one alive rather than not. Anato's employer was to meet a Jedi grand master, crap thats big. "There he is" The woman said. She ran to a tiny green man with others around him. Anato walked to him when he felt.....strange, never had one so with the force been in his precence. As the two were talking Anato snapped and kneild saying "How rare to meet one so with the ways of my people." He retracted his helmet to show he was anatzi. "Please if you would say one word of wsdom, my mind is lost without what my people so naturally have."

Master Potu, Tumas and Isabella were each meditating and waiting patiently for the Mercenaries and the Czerka employee's to make the deal, Upon Meditating an Anzati Bounty hunter came towards Master Potu and had asked him to say a word of wisdom for him. Master Potu stood up and glared upon the bounty hunter, The Jedi Order weren't fond of bounty hunters but Master Potu could sense something good from this one, "To kneel before me anzati you need not, sith I am not, ever encountered a bounty hunter that was helping the galaxy instead of causing it to go further into corruption, this is the first time that I have in many centuries, though you may think that helping with a minor problem such as this is important not, come to learn that even the smallest good deeds can help change much, you will, though you kill the targets or spare them, I question will", Master Potu said. Master Potu had not forgotten that the Anzati asked him for a word of wisdom, "Their is much I can say not, for control your future, only you can, however remember this, as feel a greater peace, you serve for the greater good of the galaxy you will, though for your own selfish desires if you serve, never be able to rest without troubling yourself with thoughts, you will, I cannot decide what future you will lead, your responsibility, that is, the only thing, offer you is advice, can I", Master Potu said. As Master Potu finished answering his question he wanted one in return, "Your name, what is, why come to help me anzati have you", asked Master Potu respectfully, since the anzati bounty hunter was respectful to him he too was in return.

"........" Anato listened to the masters words well as they were a rare gift to reseve. "My name is Anato, Anato Zeinder. I have come to help yes, but I had not expected a grand master like yourself. I am hear to assist in security during the negotiations." Anato stood up and his helmet slid back down. "It was an honor to meet you, but I feel that the others are now coming." Anato was not one with the force but he still had similer feelings of urgancy. Anato walked to his employer after bowing to the master one last time, as he approched he loaded his guass rifle and kept his weopon out, he had a feeling this was not going to be easy.

The Czerka employee's arrived before the mercenaries they saw Anato and were intimidated but came across Master Potu and two other Jedi Consulars, they were only meditating so the Czerka employees sensed no threat. Eventually after the Czerka Employee's waited along with master Potu, Tumas, Isabella and Anato for several minutes, the mercenaries eventually arrived and the deal began as soon as the two factions reached hands Master Potu, Tumas and Isabella stood up and idnited their lightsabers. They walked up to the deal and halted the two factions, the Czerka employees drooped their suitcase and ran off, Master Potu allowed them knowing they learned their lesson, however the hostile mercenaries dropped their suitcase and took out their blaster rifles, Master Potu was not able to persuade them to drop their weapons so he had to resort to action the eight mercenaries went for the Jedi's while the other six went for Anato.

Master Potu used force push and four of the mercenaries flew against the solid wall, he told Tumas and Isabella to take care of the other four, Master Potu used a powerful Jedi technique known as force blind and was able to blind the mercenaries for enough time to hold them off while Tumas, Isabella and Anato dealt with the others. Tumas and Isabella were combining two force powers together stun and force push in order to imitate a similiar strategy as Master Potu, they had slammed the other four mercenaries into the wall and it held them off for awhile, They waited for Anato to finish off the other six mercenaries and then they would further pursue their mission.

Anato saw that 6 men came twards Anato. "Heh, so you whant to dance huh?" Anato shot his guass rifle into one of the mercenares, non leathel. The blast nocked two of them out, the other fousr blasteed at him. Anato rolled to the side and holstered his rifle. He ran for the men when they ran out of ammo an reloaded. As he reached them he used the anceint Anzati fighting style Gui-no, it utilized tecnequs that used the opponents power against him. One tried to punch him, he moved his hand lightly to one side and grabed his wrist and twisted his hand, breaking it. As the man fell to the ground in pain the others droped there guns and ran at him with weopons, a knife and vibro ax. The one with the knife got to him first, Anato used a movement to get under his arm and shot his arm up, causing the blade to shoot out of his hand. He proceded to kick him the face, knowcking him out. The ax weilder was big and huge, but very slow. As he reached him, Anato triped the guy up, as he got up he droped his ax and threw punches at him. Anato ducked and used a combo hit to take him down. Punch, punch, upercut, kick, spin kick. Boom, he was down. All the men were down and Anato turned to the jedi's, who were done already.

Master Potu looked at the Anzati Bounty Hunter, Tumas and Isabella did the same they were all impressed by his fighting and how he did not cause one unecessary casualty. Master Potu nodded in a respectable manner, "Impressed by how you dealt with the problem, I am, cause one death you did not, this day you indeed earned respect from the jedi order, I can only wish, safe travels in the future may the force guide you on the right path Anzati and may your future be bright, you have" Master Potu said. Master Potu looked back at Tumas and Isabella and nodded in approval "Ready to become jedi masters, you are, taught you all I could, I have, seek out further knowledge on your own and pass your teachings on to further generations of jedi, now you two must, we are done here however not, evidence that czerka was dealing illegal weapons to mercenaries, we now have, need to confront the head of czerka here on telos iv, will we, gather the brief cases and on our way let us be" Master Potu said as they picked up the suitcases that were dropped in Apartment Complex C8. Master Potu looked back at the Anzati "I did get your name anzati not, though master potu you may call me" Master Potu said in hopes of receiving this noble Anzati's name.

As the two were speaking TSF security came by and arrested all of the mercenaries Master Potu already sensed this would happen they carried off all of the Mercenaries to the cell chambers were they would stay until trial the officers thanked Master Potu, Tumas, Isabella and the Anzati, Master Potu knew that the Anzati was a bounty hunter and respected the fact that he spared the lives of mercenaries he could have killed, master potu reached out the Anzati's hand and gave him 5000 credentials "More than earned this Anzati, you have, though go our seperate ways, now we must" Master Potu said as he walked further down toward the Czerka Corporation with Tumas and Isabella following. "I appreciate the honor of being bestowed a Jedi Master from you Master Potu" Isabella said in an appreciative tone, "Yea thanks Master Potu it is a great honor" Tumas said politely. "To thank me you need not, great responsibility, however know that being a jedi master is, if anything promise me, use your new rank only, you will when necessary" Master Potu explained, "Yes Master" said Isabella, Tumas nodded in agreement.

Anato had won the respect of the jedi master, he had not killed a single one of them. He knew that the jedi would prifer this, but a hidden part was the mercenaries had bountys that were wourth more alive. The master gave him 5,000 credits and gave him prase. "Thank you, may I ask you your name wise master?" Anato asked the master for his name, while the officers came and arrested all the mercenaries. One walked to anto and handed him 15,000 credits. "Thats for them all" Anato frouned. "No, I only deserve 6 of these" Anto handed some back. Anato stood in his new phrickt battle armor, he holstered his weopons and bowed to the master.

Master Potu along with Tumas and Isabella who were now Jedi Masters headed straight to the Czerka Corporation building with the two suitcases, They had arrived in the office of the head of Czerka on Telos IV. Master Potu had placed the suitcases on the counter and had Tumas open them, it revealed much credentials over 50,000 at least, the other case carried illegal weapons used only for TSF Officers and Republic officials. Master Potu knew that he would have to be careful Czerka played a great asset to the Republic and produced the magority of weapons for them, "Of czerka greetings head, we come here in peace and wish not conflict, making illegal deals with mercenaries, we only ask you to explain why you are" Master Potu said, "a Gentlemen I see, well since you asked so nicely I guess you deserve an honest answer, its quite simple really... the republic is ripping Czerka off we give them numerous weapons and our pay dosen't raise even though the economy is in turmoil, the republic do not care about us, the mercenaries on the other hand give us ten times as much credits as the republic and that is why we are making these dealings" the head of Czerka stated.

"Why the republic is struggling do you you see not, hmm? Recovering from the past war and doing everything for the people that they can, they are, paying less, it is selfish of you to state that they are, ever thought that perhaps the republic is low on cash have you because they are rebuilding the economy and trying to keep valuable businesses like yours alive, open your eyes young one the republic is doing all, and czerka is still functioning like usual, can they, we need not to add uncessary conflict" Master Potu said to the young female. "Perhaps you have a point Jedi, the Republic is doing all they can to help many of my families were harmed during the war and the Republic has given us nothing but kindness, you have opened my eyes once again, I have not felt this much at peace in awhile... I thank you" said the head of Czerka. "You need not to thank me, you have proven that though many businesses are having problems they still give not up hope, and glad that you understand I for this am, think of it as so but you just did an noble deed for czerka and the galaxy by showing that what was once a corrupt corporation has had the will to recover for the better you may not" Master Potu said, the head of Czerka was more than happy to hear his compliments. "To the jedi temple come now Tumas and Isabella lets head back" Master Potu said, "But Master Potu how do you know that Czerka is telling the truth" questioned Isabella, "If you had opened your mind during the conversastion, have felt the sincerity of the young womans words, you would, for your mind during conversastion how will you ever truly know whether one speaks with honesty or not if you open not" Master Potu explained.

"I see Master Potu, my apologies I will be more mindful in the future" Isabella said, Master Potu could sense that Tumas did not need to be questioned for if one focuses on a mind others around them can be heard as well. The three headed back to Captain Gresh to inform him of their success, they arrived in the TSF Headquarters and spoke to Captain Gresh, "Been dealt with, the illegal activity between czerka and the mercenaries have, my words that czerka learned a valuable lesson this day, you have" Master Potu said to Captain Gresh. "I cannot thank you and your comrades enough Master Potu you have resolved a great burden in Telos IV now TSF can go back to protecting its people without having to worry about illegal activity going on in Czerka, please accept these credits", Captain Gresh said thankfully. "For the people of czerka use my credits, an asset money is not, all that matters to me, knowing that one can help the galaxy is" Master Potu explained, Tumas and Isabella agreed and gave their share in an effort to help the needy on Telos IV.

"Make one more stop, we must, to frank muzza and let him know that he needs not to fear the mercenaries any longer" Master Potu explained, Tumas and Isabella agreed and followed Master Potu. They had arrived back at the Cantina to confront Frank Muzza, "Im hoping you have good news" Frank Muzza said relieved to see the Jedi were still alive, "To fear the mercenaries any longer frank muzza you need not, been dealt with appropriately and shall no longer threaten you, they have, you may leave the cantina safely" Master Potu said. "You and your comrades have my eternal gratitude, now that TSF knows I was not lying about the illegal dealings I spotted I can return to my career as a TSF officer and give up this alchohol take care my Jedi friends" Frank Muzza said as he ran out of the Cantina joyfully and relieved. "Done here for now, our work is, head back to the ship, let us", Master Potu said as Tumas and Isabella followed, they arrived in the ship and set enroute back to the Jedi Temple on Dantooine.

When they arrived they departed though giving each other few words of gratitude "I cannot thank you enough Master Potu, you have opened my eyes numerous times on Telos IV and now that im a Jedi Master I shall pass on what I learned to other students, and I thank you Isabella you were a valuable comrade on Telos IV and I hope we will talk more" Tumas said as he ran North to the Padawan Training Chambers, "Yes, I too must thank you Master Potu, I learned many things on Telos IV and you are truly a great teacher, I will continue to the meditation chambers in an effort to study more about the force and how I can use it to protect the people of teh Galaxy, Tumas I was grateful to have you by my side and indeed we shall speak more in time" Isabella said as she ran South to the Meditation Chambers, "You two have learned much and I hope in due time, teach many students of what you learned, you will, with you master tumas and master isabella may the force be, depart to the council chambers and meditate on this long day, I must" Master Potu said as he headed East to the Council Chambers.
