The equipment found within the Cargo would greatly help the Sith Empire's infantry, the Sith Troopers. However... Space Pirates had successfully boarded into the Transport, and the Sith Trooper is practically defenseless against this gang of savages. The Sith Empire cannot allow the Transport to be stolen, along with the Cargo it has in it... So the Emperor has sent out a Strike Team to defeat this threat.
